Before the Team USA players even take the field at the Federation of International Lacrosse Men’s World Championship in Netanya, Israel in July, these inspirational role models and ardent ambassadors are honored and grateful to be able to carry the American flag around the world.
“The opportunity to represent my country playing the sport I love is the biggest honor of my life. As a member of this team, I can assure you that our team will represent ourselves, our families, and our country with pride as we aim to bring the gold back home,” said Team USA attackman Jordan Wolf.
The team has one final training camp at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., before taking the field against the MLL All-Stars on June 28 at Harvard University. The US Lacrosse Foundation has established June 14 as an annual Team USA Giving Day to help fuel the competition year’s national team in their journey to capture gold and bring it home.
All money raised on June 14 will be matched dollar for dollar by Team USA benefactor, Sylvester Miniter, until the $75,000 fundraising goal is met. Through the Miniter Match, you can double the power of your donation at www.rallyme.com/rallies/11551
